How To Login to Synapse for the First time - How to Reset Synapse Server Password

In Order for you to login to Synapse you will need to click on the below link to reset your server password.  Please note that this is different than your Synapse username and password.

For the Login please refer to Help Desk email, click on I'm not a robot, then Click Send

Once submitted you will receive an email which will allow you to reset your password, this is your new Synapse Server Password.

Next Click on Synapse Prod icon on your Desktop

You will receive the below alert, click on Don't ask me again then Connect

You will then be prompted to enter in your Synapse Server Password

Click on More choices -> User a different account 

In the username use synapse\oneil.username ** Username is on the email you receive from Help Desk, please keep everything before username exactly how you see it.

Password is the Synapse Server Password you just reset earlier - Click OK once you have entered in your Synapse Server credentials

Once connect to the Synapse Server, please connect to Synapse App password you received from Help Desk
